Took Alida to McCluskey’s I went to Mr. Willo’s aspell After noon I went over to see Mrs. Ellis-found her no better Ed cut corn and picked peaches Bur Coon died this after noon

I and Allie went to Minnie’s today Ed worked down at his place and his mother came home with him at night

Ed took the butter to Corning and his mother went along. Sold the butter for 20cents $41.15 I done the chores and went up to Ben’s aspell

I went to Monterey to Baptist Sotiation (association?) Took dinner at Jason’s, had a good visit George Adams and Mr. Wilons there

I took Allie down home She and Annie went to Saylor’s Ed went to his place to work then come home and got pears

Home all day Cut the grass along the lane and done the chores Alida Moore brought Allie home and Alida Olmsted went back with her to Beecher’s at night Ed helped Duane cut the corn

I went to see Mrs. Shappee, found her some better and up again Then I went to church and brought Alida home from Beecher’s

I went to James’, they started for Savona I saw John Hilton in Beaver Dams at the hive I sold Charley Lee six lambs and a calf’s hide %1.56 lambs $ 17.00 $18.56 Isaac Moore and Duane Cornue and sister come here tonight with Mit’s team

Fore noon rainy after noon Isaac, Duane, Ellie and Alida went to Jamses James and Alida come back from Savona

Fine day Isaac, Duane, Ellie, Annie, Alida, Evy all went to Watkins Glen I went to Frank’s and then to Charley Steven’s and Mrs. Dayes? And called to see Mrs. Ellis, found her very feeble Carrie Anthony here Ed cutting his buckwheat on his place

Alida went home today and I felt bad to part with her and think that I am left alone where I once had a pleasant home. But all looks dark and lonely now Alida went with Isaac Moore and Duane & Ellie Cornue with Mit’s team After noon I went to F. Underwoods to see them thrash Ed cutting his buckwheat on his place

Cool day I went up to Ben’s aspell and done chores but could scarcely get around with a lame hip Ed went to work on his place and took Carrie home

I went to Watkins to get the grange property insured but the agent away I called to James’ to supper and went to the grange and come home

Fine day I went to quarterly meeting at Beaver Dams Ed went just night and got Frank and Carrie Coger

I went to Beaver Dams and had Kit shod Frank Coger rode down with me Carrie commenced her school here today and boards here Ed finished cutting the buckwheat here Mart and John helped him Adie washed for Allie
Tues Sept 20
Ed helped mart thrash I and Annie picked chestnuts She went home at night with James Mit Ett and Iva come here to night John and Charley Lee got the lambs
Wed Sept 21
I went with Mit’s folks to see George and Minnie and found Minnie at Palmer Hewitt’s and we made a visit there and went to Frank’s and stayed all night

We went to James’ after dinner James and Mit and myself went to the Watkins fair lowry day and cool
Fri Sept 23
I and Mit and Alida Moore came up here but Allie gone to Mr. Anthony’s Ed picked apples on his place We all went to Ben’s aspell Alida went home at night But Mit’s folks stayed here to night

I done chores and cut washers for the buggy After noon went to see Uncle Henry Fero found him husking corn Came home by way of James’ Took a letter up to Addie at night Ed picked apples on his place
Tues Sept 27
Ed worked at his place Robia and the children come up in the forenoon and picked some chestnuts Alida Moore brought the Putman girls here with James’ team and went home alone I took them up to Mart’s with James’ team
Wed Sept 28
I went on the cars to Bath fair At night went with Mit and Dan to Wallace on the train and rode up with D. Edwards
Thurs Sept 29
At Mit’s today Isaac and Duane and Ellie and Alida went to Bath to the fair and show at night I went to see old Mr. Edwards aspell, found him quite sharp
Fri Sept 30
Mit, Ett and Iva went to the Bath fair and I went along Had a good show at the fair and went back with them at night
